I concur Chunks ! A simple test to carry out is the Z0 height check across the board, with particular attention to the area of the board you are having problems. You should at least see the nozzle touch the board , ideally press the board slightly.

Follow the traveller as per a engineer there shouldnt be a issue. If the engineer isnt correct the operator isnt to blame, unless they are not following the traveler or paying attention to parameters. Is the messenger to blame, who sent the message?

That's funny you say that, we also have a wall of shame where we hang the pictures. Sometimes it's amazing what people can do when they aren't paying attention. We don't post pictures of the operators though.

During initial profiling we shoot for 15% or less voiding on our BGAs. During production runs we consider voids under 15% to be ok. Voiding between 15%-25% we string tag and pay more attention to during test. Over 25% we consider a reject.
