James: I believe Delmat is a proprietary product. Check with some of the solder fixture fabricators in the archives. Continuing, I would not select knowingly Delmat as a board stiffener. It's a composite material similar to oriented strand board

We run stiffeners on all of our product through our wave solder process and most of our product through our reflow and adhesive cure oven. The problem is we continually put on and take off stiffeners because of poor reliability of stiffeners staying

Hi, 1. I will run the board on the mesh if single sided. 2. For double sided board, I will try stiffeners. 3. If stiffeners don't work, then you have to create a handling fixture(holds the board and has enough openings to let the air flow to the PC

Kelly, How are you cleaning the stiffeners? The Smart Sonic cleaning process has been very successful in such applications. Visit the Smart Sonic Web Site at: www.smartsonic.com Or call me at 1(800) 806-440-R. Regards, Bill | We run stiffeners

Dose anybody know of a method of preventing board sag in the wave process. We have a 2 year old Deltawave. The product we are running is a one sided 10in x 12in panel of 6 PCB's. Pin headers and connectors are near all of the edges. Our current board

Check for coplaner leads if this just exists at reflow process, i.e. look at part before oven, turn on 3D at placement machine. If you see after wave solder, the wave could cause coplanarity issues on top as well if you are going slow enough to refl

solder balls/wash

We have been experiencing an issue with solder balls coming out of wave, both RoHS and 63/37, no clean process. It has been determined that a reduction in flux has all but eliminated the solder balls except for where we need to use board stiffeners a

TMC, Are you interested in this approach because you only have a flat belt conveyor and want to keep the components from being moved by the belt on the second pass? If so, you might try adding some stiffeners to the board edges to stand the board o
