If the blower is pulling high amps it's possible that it's still running but the oven is recognizing the high current. Check the label on the blower for the amp rating and check the current w/ an amp probe.

if your solder wave machine has a removable solder pot, consider getting a second solder pot. So you will start with a brand new empty solder pot. Keep the current one with your current solder as a backup.
