Hi does anyone own a decent tape and reel machine for taking tubed product and loose product and taping it? preferably 8mm to 56mm max. Would be nice if it has a camera system to check device is correct way up/orientation, and how effective this is.

we have a static problem with 0603 led when removing the plastic retainer from the tape and reel. same problem with the feeder causing reject and bad placement. is there someone having the same problem? and how to fix it. thank you

Hi Greg, Remember, splicing isn't just for when components run out - it's also for when you have to pull a part reel from stock, swap it across machines with different feeders, or when the tape snaps. Cheers, Rob.

Base, You are absolutely correct. This is what I intend to do. In fact, our feeders at one time had reel hangers that would allow for reel removal and thus splicing. Sometimes it is frustrating when people are set in their ways and won't consider
