Yes, thanks for bringing up that point, DaveF. All polyimide tapes are not created equal, and in my experience Kapton has always worked for this application. The "better deal" has not, ever.

You don't clean contaminated gold fingers so much as you replace them. I once had the "cleaning" solution. It totally dissolved the gold fingers so that they could be replaced.

Does anyone know of a good servicing company for Omniflow reflow ovens? Preferably in the north of the UK. The chain rails on ours have warped and need straightening. While the oven is still usable without, it is by no means ideal.

Hi, I must change our current terrible foam fluxer unit used in Seho wave to a spray type to let able to use water soluble flux. Does anybody have recommendation for solution that won't break the bank? BR:Andras

Water soluble fluxes can be highly corrosive. Make sure that your new spray fluxer can handle your flux type.

SonFlux EZ is not suitable for water SOLUBLE flux. SonoFlux Servo can be equipped with parts that whitstand corrosive water soluble fluxes. SonoFlux Servo was about 19k€ in 2011 (including installation).

What formula of flux are you foaming with? I am looking for a new flux to try. We are still foaming in both our machines.
