I am pretty sure, you are looking into the wrong spot. Your paste is too much, or your part has very inconsistent narrow leads(that includes wrong pad design as well.)

Don't suppose the coil manufacture could make the coil with the leads coming straight out from the winding on opposite sides and on the same plane. Then it can't roll around. SMT pads may have to be staggered a bit. Just a thought.

we did something similar in the past but the leads had a L shape on the end which kept them stable.

i HAVE A CUSTOMER WHO IS USING A WATER SOLUBLE LEAD FREE SOLDER PASTE AND IT IS ADHERING TO THE SQUEEGEE. ANY IDEAS HOW TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE WOULD HELP.
