Thanks. Yes, we have attempted to use standard ROHS profiles in the past and turned our THT connectors into 'chucky dolls' after the PCBA left the oven. We then realized that we need the high temp nylon connectors to allow for the use inside the SMT

This is a very challenging situation indeed. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the component? I know of one time in the past we had a reflow issue and contacting the manufacturer actually proved insightful. I have seen claims using Diamon

| | I recently switched from solder paste in 500 gram jars to 500 gram tubes. I did this to try to limit the time the paste is exposed to the room environment. But we have a need to clean the stencil every 4 - 5 boards which means taking the bulk pas

Is there anyone who can tell me what is the maximum allowable soldering temperature when soldering a TQFP (Thin Quad Flat Pack) device in a reflow oven? We recently used a CY7C375i in a TQFP160 package and we experienced warping (bending) of this com

Hi, Has anyone here get some experience with SMT connector soldering? We were having really hard time to solder this AMP 50/50 Grid connector. Every connector installed has a few pins just sit on the solder. We use AIM 293DX2B NC solder paste, 60
