Hi Mike, What type of component you have the problem? For a quick refernce you have two points for the ideal dot: 1- Dot size = 2/3 of area of glue (pad to pad) 2- Dot height = pad thickness + component stand off

Dave this seems to be happining at placement altough when u run cal board the palcement is fine could the glue density be causing this

Aaron, You may want to consider a bead of hot melt glue similar to that used by hobbyists. There are various formulations with different melting temps. Andy

I suggest tow more ways: 1. try to differ the temperaturte between top and bottom side duering the reflow process. 2. try to add some glue dots under the falling parts befor the placement/reflow process Good luck Michael
