SPM AV SCREEN PRINTER PROBLEMS

Electronics Forum | Mon May 30 00:11:47 EDT 2005 | vms

Hello James and Michelle Have been reading this thread and I just have to add my 2 cents. I was under the impression that this site was created with the idea of a place to post a problem and see if some one else may be able to help with a answer. I

Aligning camera on the MPM AP25

Electronics Forum | Sun Sep 25 20:20:22 EDT 2011 | johnyq

We recently aquired an old MPM-AP25 stencil printer that printed paste with a large error (about .060 inches). I concluded camera alignment to be the cause but was surprised by the magnitude. I found the camera beam splitter prism misaligned and loos

MPM AP/A Screnn Printer - Dispense Pinch Disable

Electronics Forum | Mon Sep 02 15:41:47 EDT 2013 | aemery

Mr Duckmann2000. Where is the leak??? Is it up on the dispenser behind the printhead? If so the simpliest thing to do, assuming you are not using the dispenser, is to cut the incoiming air tubing to the dispense pinch, fold it over and ty-wrap it.

MPM Up2000 and SMEMA

Electronics Forum | Tue Sep 20 15:00:26 EDT 2016 | awhite

Got it!!!!! On the main Operator Screen for the MPM UP2000, and under configuration (when logged-in under maintenance), it gives you ONLY the settings that the machine is set to....there are no drop-downs or options available to choose from. Very fr

The most effective method is to monitor both printing results and parameters. Periodically (maybe once per month), run QCCalc or another program to measure the machine's capability to hold its set parameters. I also run control charts on the paste h

MPM forgets fiducials

If you have concluded that it is not a file storage problem you may wish to consider - When setting up a job the camera can move to virtually any position. This does not mean that the actuators on the stencil or board have enough travel to align the

Hidee Ho Brian! Just like the other Steve, we just bought a SPM too. Our is brand new, and it's a SPM-AV (has vision). The other option we have is a automatic underside stencil cleaner. We're a contract assembler as well, just starting up.

MPM Momentum 2d Inspection questions

Electronics Forum | Fri Mar 09 01:48:26 EST 2018 | aemery

Unfortunately Gerber EZ is probably the one thing I know very little about. As an FSE with Speedline I only had one client at that time that was using it and an application engineer came in and helped them with it. Sorry I can't give a direct answer

Congrats. You now control the source of almost 70% of the defects of your SMT operation. There is a neat series of presentations on printing, each year at SMI. One of the best of the SMI series was in 1997, because presenters used a common board
