Try Siemens splice tape. It comes in two different sizes and works very well. I've tried Boyd, but we had to many problems with the tape breaking. If you interested, I can email you part numbers for the splice tape and supplies.

What are your preheat rates? Try a slower ramp. A typical insurance policy is to kapton tape the gold card edge. If your problem persists, try baking the boards to drive the moisture out.

Have you tried doing solder dip test on these components? Or a Leaching Test, to see if the solder catches on the termination ? I suggest you should try these tests.. Cheers Indy
