Right, but these contacts have up to 36V running through it 20 minutes at a time unlike your wedding ring when you are swimming. If you take a look at the picture I posted in the last comment, that is what we are seeing over the course of use.

Shawn ... I believe you. I believe what you're saying. I don't believe that you received the metals that you ordered. From the way it looks I'd guess that you have no nickel and that you're seeing copper corrosion.

I think stencil manufacturers back fill half etched fiducials with black epoxy or something. I know I've had some worn and that's what I've done for my vision systems to be happy again.

That's what I was trying to say was the E-pass can cause that problem; it's been a while since we had those. Hope you got it figured out.

Looking at your picture I'm not sure you have a wetting problem. Who determined it's not wetted? Are you having functional failures? Is this an isolated incident? What was your TAL? Is the pad on the suspect ball possibly smaller than the others, or

No sorry, I havnt seen anything like that. What is the package size/ball size/ or the ball pitch? I can have a look and see if I can get it to work on these machines? I'm pretty sure they will cope fine though.
