Do you have BEC (Board Error Correction) > on that machine, and if so, did they > give you the alignment plate for it? I don't know if we have BEC on the machine. I can't even search the 550 page manual that was finally sent to us in a pdf file

Universal Instruments Radial Inserter

Electronics Forum | Mon Aug 06 14:05:02 EDT 2007 | slthomas

BEC hardware would be on the machine as a sensor underneath the placement table, to the left of the C&C, and an emitter attached to a bracket to the left of the insert head. The two line up with each other and the sensor uses a quadrant layout to det

Adhesive printing with double side board

Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 24 10:23:36 EDT 2007 | ck_the_flip

Congrats Shrek - sounds like you found your heaven, blaming others. About "IT". Wow, what kind of hype was that? I thought this would be something worth reading. Looks like a first year Project Manager thought of this. I agree, who ever thought

Lead-free is just another political stunt so the politicians can reap benefits from our following. Putting your name on a White Paper means nothing about their reputations - they just want to be closer to the sheepherder. They are hoping we will al

Small board washer needed

Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 26 13:08:59 EDT 2007 | Mike Konrad

The best method of cleaning misprinted boards is with a stencil cleaner. I would not recommend the use of a spray-in-air system for misprints. Spray systems can cause solder paste to become embedded into vias and under components (if double sided).

Void on soldering

Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 31 17:11:28 EDT 2007 | rpadilla

Is the via hole not supposed to be there, or is this by design? If you are trying to fill the via hole with solder and not have voiding issues, I suggest using a type 4 solder powder mesh size. Reason being, anytime you go beyond Type 4 mesh, to so
