0.5 and 0.4 mm pitch, we think we could get problems with the solderpaste stencil. Also some board have keypads and then we have do do partial gold and I think that will not reduce the costs

The Xmotor tests just confirms that the hardware did not initialize.....unless I am looking at the wrong menu. I have external fans on the booster board and the X motor on the back of the machine as well as one blowing directly into the computer box

Tell your customer that you need five extra assemblies so that you can do a good job of designing process to ensure that they don't receive poo boards.

JMW, Thank you for your reply. Can you add the upward camera to this machine that does not have it after purchase? If so what is involved? I do have typically two items per board that would be below 25 mil pitch.

How many % were affected? If a few,it can be caused bcoz of PCB coating. We had encountered it and PCB house replaced for faulty boards. Since then, we do test first if we hve to solder PCBs from this PCB house.

Exposed copper on the edges of boards is what I'm refering to. could be a potential shorting issue in your housings. Just depends on the application. We have cut into ours and use humiseal to dress them off. Rich

You should check that the machine actually works before you buy it. I still can purchase most parts, but the Vision Board is not available anymore.
