Move the camera over a feeder position and shine a flashlight to see if the image improves.....if it does....your light ring needs replaced or the led's need replaced in it. Sometimes just re-adjusting the angle of the led's in the ring can help. Go

Bob Wasn't there a MOD code or Function code that controlled default light brightness? My memory is fuzzy on this so I might be completely off base.

Yes, the left to right movement. The belt looks tight. I will check for loose steps, thanks for the tip. I can't find a mod code for overall speed setting. Do you remember the number?

You could also try swapping the motion cards. X and Y are swappable I believe. And see if the problem goes to the X. I have had to do that in the past for troubleshooting. It has been awhile since I have touched a IVC, but I loved those machines.

oh! Please let me know if you find that info, it would be great to have a spare that can be plugged anywhere. You never know when some of these old cards will fail. Thanks bobpan!

done, mod code 53, "2" is faster than "1". Actually, it looks like the default "0" setting, but somehow it's working a lot better than the "0". Thanks bobpan, I believe this is the one!

2 is a little slower than 0. leave me your email address and i will send you the procedure.
