Move the camera over a feeder position and shine a flashlight to see if the image improves.....if it does....your light ring needs replaced or the led's need replaced in it. Sometimes just re-adjusting the angle of the led's in the ring can help. Go

re-adjust them .....yes just bend them in a little more. As for led's ....i have tried all kinds...some work better than others.

Bob Wasn't there a MOD code or Function code that controlled default light brightness? My memory is fuzzy on this so I might be completely off base.

ya.....i forgot about that........ mod code 35 and mod code 36 control lighting on the machine. Full brightness is 255. There are also light setting in the configuration file but i tend to keep people out of it. Thanks, Bob

Yes, the left to right movement. The belt looks tight. I will check for loose steps, thanks for the tip. I can't find a mod code for overall speed setting. Do you remember the number?

You could also try swapping the motion cards. X and Y are swappable I believe. And see if the problem goes to the X. I have had to do that in the past for troubleshooting. It has been awhile since I have touched a IVC, but I loved those machines.

mod code 53. make it 2...this speed setting is closer to fast than slow.

done, mod code 53, "2" is faster than "1". Actually, it looks like the default "0" setting, but somehow it's working a lot better than the "0". Thanks bobpan, I believe this is the one!
