You are ignorant in the art of Tai Chi my friend. I would suggest formal lessons from a Tai Chi Master.

Hi McGill, Wow, another "Master" in the making on this forum. Call me what you will, at least I know how to post once.

I have used SnBi from Alpha, and it worked well. The only issue I found is that you cannot have ANY Pb contamination.

Does anyone have advice about the best low volume (hopefully under $10K) reflow system for SN96 or SAC305 solder? We recently purchased a benchtop IR oven and it is not working well. Jim

I'm looking for a No Clean SAC 305 Solder Paste that can be run through our inline wash. No chemicals just DI water.

has anyone used or trialed the SACX from Alpha, from reportes and studies carried out it seems that its a go between SAC305 and SN100.

Hi, Sorry to drag this thread up again, but we were recommended to change the wave to SAC305, but is everyone recommending SN100C? That seems to be the feeling on this thread. What flux is used? Regards, Grant

Be sure to peel the potatoes. I saw a guy use a potato to purify gold on the TV show Rough Science. Seriously though I would think SAC305 to SN100C wouldn't be as bad as eutectic to leadfree.
