Sounds like you need a support pallet to accommodate the narrow side clearance. Several pallet houses made pallets that work in screen printing that have flush board edge clamps that hold the board in the pallet yet allow the stencil to come all the

Marcin, Think outside the box. If you are glueing the SMT part down, why not have an aperture cut in your stencil (or recut a stencil) between the SMT part and thru-hole. Wave solder hates SMT glue. This will get rid of your solder short problem

I see...said the blind man. If you've got the LED's on one side, and the SMT on the other...and you have the clearance, I'd go with the previous suggestion of gluing the SMT, and waving the whole assembly... As for stenciling....use a glue dispense

With this length, I would use solid bare wire, solder one end, sleeve with approved shrink tube, solder the other end and shrink the tubing. You could even leave the shrink tube off if you had design clearance. Then you can just trim off the ends on

Josh: Hole size to lead diameter ratio is meaningless. Minimum and maximum component lead to finished hole size clearance do not vary according to component lead diameter or hole size. Regardless, here's what you want to smack those goofballs over i

We use a FKN pizza cutter and found that even with 5mm clearance and the proper orientation of the part larger ceramic capacitors 1812, 1210 would still stress fracture. We have successfully fixed stress fracture problems by adding routed relief slot

Hello, about 20mm - some kind of inductance for this week. If I were you, I would check another brands of ovens too. I mean why the clearance is so small and why they want to charge you for their mistakes? I would insist to do that for free. Next

It's a common problem. Try using a different needle diameter. Paste type||Suggested needle size II||21 or larger III||23 or larger IV||25 or larger V||27 or larger VI||30 or larger Additionally, improper clearance between the auger pump screw and t

I'm having problems with Quad QSP-2 pick n place machines recognizing fiducials. We are cleaning the fiducials, but that's tedious and time consuming ( I don't know anyone who routinely cleans them). We have solder mask clearance around the fiducials

thats very close to the edge. it is preferable to have at least 3mm clearance to edge, or more ideally 5mm. If the chips are too near to the edges, you might want to modify the panel by routing through the area next to the chips. This would eliminate
