Ramp-to-Spike profiles can be used with most Sn/Pb alloys as well as the SACs.

They work well if the volume of solder is correct for the hole size etc...

Hot melt from a glue gun. Works well but a pain if the part has to be replaced.

Well, then use what the FSE and equipment manufacturer reccomends.
