Hi All, I was wondering if anybody knows if the com cables to the Fuji machines are standard DB9 to DB25 cables. I am trying to setup a CP6 machine to the Flexa server, but my cables dont seem to be working. Can anyone help?

Do a search here for SMEMA standards, I had problems a while back and had to swap some wires on an OEM's machine to get it to interface correctly to our equipment. Probably not the same problem as your having but I did write a long winded explinatio

Thank you for the reply AMK, sorry didn't get a chance to check this right away 'cause got side-tracked with other project. Anyway, what do you mean that pins 3&4 may be shorted? All I know that Agilent AOI uses Standard SMEMA configuration.

We're sorry not to have replied sooner, but we just lost track of this thread. The chart is from a course taught by Martin Tarr at the University of Bolton.

Yes it is one thousand. I was hoping for 1.566 but no, that is a comma. From my understanding this unit of measuremeant would be a direct equivalent in megaOhms making this 1,566 megaohms in resistivity. I may be wrong.

Hi All, Does anyone know if there is any standard equipment capable for Ceramic/Alumina based PCB depenaling (cut into odd shape)? I am aware of diamond saw cutter, but it only limit to straight line cut. Thanks. LH
