Inherrently there is this perception that the higher the density of components on an SMT assembly the better the machine performance. Would you stand behind this theory?
I thought that I would, but I can't seem to prove it mathematically. By that I mean, what would be the ideal design (component density per area) to maximize production?
I've looked for correlations (component qty. vs. machine performance, component density by linear distance and/or area vs. machine performance) but couldn't find any that had any significance.
