When I try to install any tool on my MyData12 I get the following error message:

F-TLMN-18 Failed to reach tool bank level

How do I fix this error? It passes the Hardware Initialization test.

Based on the my15 we used to have and our current My100's I'd say it lost the position of the tool bank. Is it Hydra or Midas tooling? Uninstalling and reinstalling the hydra tool bank is fairly easy.

If it's Midas tools, does it fetch other tools ok? Could be an overall tool length program issue.

The issue is with the Midas head. It gives me the same error with any tool I try to install.

You may have to clean the inside of the midas head with a small cotton swab, thats usually for the spring tools line. The midas travels up and down on rails, and those and the rack/pinion gear that drive it need clean grease.

It may be that the machine lost its known position of the midas tool bank. You could uninstall and reinstall the tool bank and then reinstall the tools on the tool bank. Thats all through the utility menu > tool installation >
