Good morning everyone, my company is evaluating the purchase of a new reflow oven: one of the ones we are evaluating is the Vitronic Soltec CENTURION 1040. Does anyone have useful information for this product? Thanks

Funny coincedence, we're looking too and I talked to a sales rep just yesterday. For budget reasons, I'd expect to be in the $70-75K ballpark all said and done. They have a lifetime warranty on heaters and blowers. Theirs are assembled in China and they keep a handfull of stock in Missouri. However, they have to pay tarriff and shipping. The machines come factory set for air. Any nitrogen flow has to be custom made. They told me they could have one of the stock units shipped here and installed in as little as 2-3 weeks.

We use both the ct930 and 1040, we are not impressed, we ended up retrofitting due to excessive heat being produced at the circuit breaker side of oven, Ended up installing several door fans to reduce the heat. also the oven was supposed to be able to run both Nitro and air. this was not the case, another retrofit. Even now we still have flux drop. Speedline better reflow oven

Ok, thanks for the reply. The overheating problem is not negligible and in my opinion quite serious. I hope to receive more feedback to find out if this is a widespread problem or just yours. so would you advise me against it? I have to convince my owner to spend a little more, I would have identified the Rehm ovens which seem to me to be more performing.
