Assembleon Eclipse error: L006: Tr.over current | 20 September, 2012

This error occurred in machines built before 1996 due to interference only. On later machines if it ocurrs when the servo is turned on then too much current have flowed through the IPM module on the Driver Board. You should check:/ 1/.. The pins on the MO1->4 connectors because the pins push back ! 2/.. Check mechanical freedom of each axis. With power off.. feel each motor rotation for a burnt armature. 3/.. Replace the Driver Board.

Hallo Jeff

thanks a lot for your answer. Yes the error was the bad driverboard. The daughterboard AC . We changed and the mashine is running. Unfortunately we have now a problem with the Handheldkeyboard. The joystick is not working. The same problem is on our Comet. No joystick function. Do you have one more idear ?

thanks in advance Ekkehart

Are you saying that the buttons on the Joystick work, but the Joystick lever for XY is not working?

Simulator for the Eclipse | 7 October, 2012

Hi Jeff

we opend the HHK and removed the Eprom . We reed out and put it back. After that I dont know why it worked .

By the way: we have a simulation program for our Saphire where we can prepare programs . Did you ever heared of a simulator for the Eclipse ? It would be very helpful to use it .
