Vansco has an immediate opening for a technician on the Manufacturing Process team. Familiarity with Surface Mount Technology (screen print, pick & place, reflow), Through Hole (auto-insertion and manual insertion), component preparation, wire harness assembly, wave soldering, selective soldering, conformal coating, and encapsulation/potting is a plus.

This person will maintain and repair various types of production and development equipment. You will sustain production through quick response to routine problems and use continuous improvement methods to enhance quality and efficiency metrics.

Responsibilities include installation of new equipment, troubleshooting and repair of current equipment/processes, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining the calibration and maintenance database. This individual will also provide technical skills for cross-functional teams.

Mission critical processes and/or equipment that are line-down may require overtime and/or modifications to standard work schedules.

In order to apply for this position, you should have a high school diploma or GED. An Associates Degree in a technical field or equivalent years of training/experience is preferred. Experience with repair and maintenance of production equipment is required. Some computer experience is also required. You must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
