Job Description:

Clover Electronics is located in Newnan, GA and is a contract manufacturer of PCB’s, electronics, LED lighting products, assembly and repair.

Clover Electronics is seeking a Business Development Manager experienced in EMS, electronics and/or manufacturing.  This position will have direct responsibility for actively driving and managing the development of new business, in new markets, and establishing relationships with existing customers for increased sales.  The candidate should possess experience in a technical background coupled with marketing ideas and sales strategy.   The candidate will be a technical resource and product advocate for the customer.. The candidate must be able to articulate technology and manufacturing services capability to both business and technical users to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.


Specific Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily sales appointments to prospective customers to promote and sell Clover’s manufacturing services. New business development will be a major area of focus
• Establishes relationships within the current customer base and develop incremental sales
• Maintain a system for tracking, qualifying and follow-up of all leads and projects.
• Assist customers by providing technical information and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
• Advise management of sales activity and inventory requirements to meet customer demands as well as pricing details for invoicing/quoting purposes.
• Drive the sales, marketing and social media efforts in order to effectively increase Clover’s presence in the market and develop new customer contacts.
• Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized and analytical, with a proven track record in technical sales and knowledge of manufacturing services.  

• BA/BS in business, engineering or relevant discipline
• 5+ years experience in vendor, technical and/or manufacturing sales
• Electronics industry, manufacturing and sales experience a must
