Job Summary
Develop manufacturing process plans, test requirements, manufacturing flow, and capacity plans for the Johnstown CCA Focus Factory. Applies senior level engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation in support of Circuit Card Assembly Manufacturing Operations. Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility.
Job Responsibilities
Performs moderately complex functions in the process design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of CCA production operations
May prepare complicated plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the development of CCA production operations
May assign work to drafters and/or technicians and provide guidance to lower level engineers
Review customer specifications and requirements, develops designs to best support production initiatives, including cost as a key design variable
May participate in business development activities including proposal support
Responsibilities are diverse in scope where analysis of situations or data requires sound judgment
Provide general guidance on new assignments as needed
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in an applicable engineering field with 7+ years applicable engineering experience (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)
Fluency in technologies and application domain.
Extensive knowledge of SMT and surface-mount processes including CCA testing.
Practical work experience in an SMT/surface-mount electronics manufacturing environment
Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, SMT Manufacturing, RoHS, project management, EDA/CDA programs, industry accepted file formats, Circuit Cam, Shop-floor tracking
US Citizenship required
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance
