Company in GDL, Siemens recognized as a partner
I had been acting as the interface between the customer and Siemens EAS. This site had 107 SIPLACE machines in three different buildings in the same campus, and I was coordinating all the activities in Service, machine upgrades, software upgrades, software solutions implementations, Spare Parts follow-ups and ramp up supports. All those activities were in parallel with the On-Site support (Activities reports, presentations, customer meetings, SIPLACE new products HS & SW presentations) to the plant managers on each building having with this their commitment to our continuous relationship. Due to this, the company fully recognized Siemens as a truly partner.

XBOX GDL Project, $2.5M of revenue
In Siemens EAS as a Technical Account Manager worked together with the Manufacturing & Engineering Manager for the deployment of 56 SIPLACE machines to build the lines. 7 lines were installed and I connected them together into a SIPLACE LAN in a UNIX platform to build a Central Data Storage (CDS) and synchronize all those seven databases with the master DB. Avoiding with this having lines running the same product in different ways. CDS helps to the customer and Microsoft to guarantee high levels of quality with the standardization of all their SMT production lines and this allowed achieving 120 PCB�s per hour in every single line. My coordination of this project generates revenue to EAS of $2,5M USD for concept of new sales equipment & software, spare parts and service. During this time the SIPLACE Explorer software was evaluated and used to monitor the line performance.

LCD TV Builder, 7 new machines sold
The need to create a monitoring & data management on the SMT area was a challenge for this company due to the quantity of different products for their LCD TV�s that were producing.
I coordinated and implemented the SIPLACE LAN to integrate 15 SIPLACE machines into one node (Switch) conforming 7 lines and one single database into a Server for all their products. All these activities included the design of the network, the configuration of the Line controllers, machines and servers. Also with this implementation the new product introduction was faster than before and these conducted to additional 7 machines sales.

LCD TV Builder, Sub 20 DPMO
Sub 20 DPMO SMT Process. Participated into a focused Sigma Kaizen project to rapidly drive improvement and establish sustainable methods for defect reduction. The business objective was achieved reducing the amount of rework cost for PCB assemblies from the surface mount process.

Automotive company, More throughput capacity
Customer with the highest levels of traceability standards, I provided the solution of SIPLACE Setup Center on which the customer achieve their customer requirements tracing boards and components placed in an effective manner. Every board build has the enough information to trace problems in the field resulting in an increment of the production for a 15% more due to reducing line stops.

Sales New Accounts & new reference account.
Increase and improve the relationship with the customers. Develop relationship with 8 new accounts in my territory, on which we built and achieve the 90%, for now, to complete the order at two companies in Cd. Ju�rez. Also, in conjunction with a customer in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, we improve the lines uptime installing upgrades & software integration converting that account into a reference account. Nowadays we are working together with this customer to build an opportunity for a new SIPLACE Line consisting in four X-Series machines.
