Based in Clearwater, FL, Shortgrass Technologies, Inc. was formed in November of 1998 for the purposes of developing, manufacturing, and installing a Golf Course GPS system that was capable of displaying sub-meter GPS distancing from a cart mounted video display unit, (VDU). In the short time since the Company�s formation it has established itself as having the most advanced technology within this industry. It was the Company�s position to utilize high-resolution graphics and a high-speed wireless network to display detailed color representations of each hole with unlimited distancing information in a "hands-free" environment. Shortgrass Technologies, Inc. utilizes state-of-the-art inline manufacturing equipment to produce its own microprocessors and does all final assembly. By doing the manufacturing in-house STI is able to gain a substantial price advantage over the competition and continually maintain the highest levels of quality.
