SMTnet.com Accepts Instant Online Submissions
SMTnet.com now accepts instant online submissions to all of its interactive sections. These new features allow companies and individuals to get information out to thousands of electronics professionals instantly, without waiting for an editor to read it or for the Web site to be updated. This is the first and only service available on the Internet that allows direct submission of news and other resources for instant publishing.

The automated sections of the site include SMT Forum, SMT News, SMT Library, Calendar of Events, Career Center, Industry Directory, and PCB Capital Equipment Mart.

SMTnet Launches My SMTnet
My SMTnet is a customizable home page for SMTnet users. The page is made up of blocks of content, containing the most recent additions to each of SMTnet's components, as well as other useful information. Users can choose which blocks should be displayed, how many items to show for each block, and even break blocks down into sub-components. The blocks can also be rearranged on the page. In addition, users may choose to make My SMTnet their default start page when they visit SMTnet.com.

Find a Job While Protecting Your Privacy
SMTnet's Career Center allows you to post your resume and password protect it to hide sensitive information and retain your anonymity. This way, your present employer won't know you are looking for another job. If a company is interested in your private resume, they may contact SMTnet, who will contact you, giving you the option to disclose your resume and details to the interested company.
