I have owned Vitronics, BTU, ETS, & Heller. The Vitronics was by far the best oven for the price. The most reliable also. BTU is the worst one I have owned for reliability. Software bugs galore.

Any suggestions as to which company provides the best reflow oven? Currently comparing a BTU, Heller, and Vitronics. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bill, I have profiled the boards using a KIC. The temperature the board sees is close as I can get it. This is not the only difference I have seen between the two oven but it is the one I haven't been able to workout.

Try lowering your blower speeds on the bottom zones. Works as well and lowering temps but easier to control than balancing your delta T from zone to zone.

Thanks for ur good advice. I do have a Tamura, one JT, 3rd one I want to buy Heller or Vitronic. Using KIC also for profiling.
