If i remember this correctly....and its been years.......check to see what your theta number is for the pickup or placement. The number has to be 1 of 4 values.

Can anyone supply me with the default MOD codes for a Quad 2C. I have recently picked up a used one and am having trouble getting to run properly. All I have is codes for a 4C. Thanks

I have been in the process of setting up a Quad 2C that lost its mod codes myself. Have you cleaned the glass encoder strips for X and Y? I was getting alot of motor errors until I cleaned them and I believe it was the error 4. Hope this helps.

An old quad 2C/4C with a workholder will probably fit all those numbers. 2Ft is pretty long though and that might be a little too long. Machine price range is about right. Programming is pretty easy. Good luck

There are different sets of mod codes depending on the firmware version on the machine. One of the function codes can tell you what firmware you have and if its quadalign or cyberoptics. Re-post and maybe i will have the version you need.

I thought the the machine was slowed down to speed setting 1 for the x/y axis and the machine worked. I think the x-motor was on its way out.
