How deep is the indent? I would say as long as it is hitting nothing but net (the solder fill), your fine. Besides, you should notice indents on your solder fillets of components on the top-side as well. This is also expected and acceptable.

seems Chinese AOI, I've seen plenty of such in price range $10-12K when I was in China, they have perfect mechanic and poor written software, which make them almost unusable when buy one such machine from China expect near zero support

I would also want to tell you to be careful with the chinese machines. I am working with a inline chinese AOI, it is cheap, but lots of falls alarms, bug problems, poor english in the menus, poor support. On the first view it seemed good machine, now

What's the model number of the machine? See if you can get a serial number, then call YesTech and ask them.

Haven't seen one of these since the late 80's. You should get a new one. If you are a semi auto guy try the DEK 265.

Is anyone on here using the MY500 ? If so, please provide some feedback on what you think about it.

If you cannot put paste down with a stencil, have exhausted all other avenues on putting paste down and the MY500 is the only machine that can put the paste where you want it... Buy it.
