Do you have any information about the best standart for 0402" chip pad design. I have found differents recomended dimensions from IPC standart and manufacturer(AVX) . Which should be the best one? Thanks

Talk to 10 people and you get 10 recommendations for pad layout. So far, here's number 3 [after IPC and AVX]. We suggest: * Use the IPC recommended standard. * Change from that standard when someone gives you a documented reason to change.

Nope, I agree Russ. (Except for Siemens being garbage - there's a lot worse out there!) We run Fuji CP6E's and they are bombproof.

We are aware of no such standard. You need to determine the acceptable level for your product in its use environment.

We use "SFDM"-- Shop Floor Data Management... We have just recently started using it so I don't know any specifics on it. Do a web search on Shop Floor Data Management and there should be a web site. Hope this helps ....

Hi, Is there a company that provides training for the BGA X-Ray Inspection Criteria? Or where can I find articles or any docs about this aside from IPC 7095? regards, Dreamsniper
