Stick with what you already know. A GSM1 with a 4 spindle head is the way to go. Its excellent for balancing a line becuase you can place anything with it. Or if you need to dispence glue or odd form parts you can add another head later.

Right you are. Count on it taking at least an hour if you've never done it before. I think they made the pro-head way too complicated. Standard UP style heads are so much easier.

We received one about 5 weeks ago, about 65% faster and still have all the flexibility of our original mydata machines. On a side note we had a head to head competition between them and juki for a week.

Hi Steve, Make sure your spray head is all the way down. If so, try slowing your rate of speed over the part. Which head are you using to coat this part?

We apply temporary solder mask off line, using a programmable dispense head. Works fine. Purchasing a placement machine with a dispense head usually only works-out well for the sales-type. Not in every case, but usually.

Re-optimize the program. One (or more) head(s) can not reach and pick up parts from certain feeders.
