we manufacture a range of ceramic parts that have silver termination, there is already a small leaching problem (absorption of the termination by the solder in liquid form)with Sn62 that we live with, having to implement unleaded solder they are norma

Slaine, We use a Pd/Ag thickfilm paste. Because of the leaching we had to start using solder pastes that have silver in it. For RoHS, we are using a solder paste with an alloy of Sn95/Ag05. We also have to double print the thickfilm pastes. I h

Hi, Is anyone aware of the Mesh sizes(Screen Printing) that are against specific silver particle sizes. Like in case of solder for different types of paste, different mash sizes are recommended. Is anyone aware of any such things in the case of silve

Short answer: Yes. Depending on the application of the conductive ink, suppliers select different mesh for the silver particles. So, you should follow your supplier's recommendations for printing, for instance: Conductive Ink||PI-2000 Highly Condu

Mesh opening size may be a factor in whether or not the paste will pass but only in very fine line deposition. Generally speaking, the printed line width and deposition thickness determine what mesh to use. The paste supplier will be able to tell you

Hello, I am new in this forum and also new in PCB manufacturing. now we have issued about silver open and short. we can detect this defect after auto check process and its to late to save our PCB. Is there any way to detect silver open or insufficien

| I am trying to find out as much information as possible relating to conductive inks. | | If anyone out there is using them please give some advice. | | 1) How are you curing the ink? | 2) What type of substrates are you using and who supplies
