Thanks all. I didn't check any further as I dont want to mess the midas head any further especially because I'm not sure how to take it out to work on it.

Hey Rob, I don't know where the MOT cards are located on MY12 or how to change them. Do you have any documentation or instructions on how to change the MOT cards?

From what I remember, shut off machine, unplug cable/hose, unscrew 4 screws and the head is out.

CP-642 sometimes does not finish power up sequence. It hangs.

Part library is big enough problem. Whatever machine you pick you will be able to transfer XY, Theta coordinates as well as reference designators. This will help in programing a little, but this is all you will gain. all packages, vision algorithms

Your missing the point. The placement machine is the primary issue. Does this toy even say it can handle that component? If you have the ability try slowing the machine down when it is placing that component. Slow X, Y, and Theta axis. Jerry
