Seika Machinery Introduces MORITA TECH WM7000 Series Robotic EMC Noise Scanners

Mar 02, 2026

Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, has added the MORITA TECH WM7000 Series High Performance EMC Noise Scanners to its electronics manufacturing equipment lineup. Product details are available at: https://seikausa.com/electronics-mfg-equipment/emc-solutions.

The WM7000 Series is a robotic EMC noise scanning platform designed to help engineers see exactly where electromagnetic noise is being generated on a product. Using near-field magnetic probe scanning with a laser rangefinder, the system captures and visualizes noise distribution quickly and with high positional accuracy. The intuitive software allows users to run fast, detailed scans and clearly identify problem areas during development and troubleshooting.

The series includes two models — the WM7400 and WM7300 — each built to support different application sizes while delivering the same measurement precision and frequency capability.

The WM7400 is designed for A4-size measurement areas, making it ideal for PCB-level analysis and compact assemblies. It supports frequency bands from 150 kHz to 3 GHz as standard, with an optional range up to 8 GHz. With a minimum scanning step of 0.1 mm and positional accuracy of ±0.01 mm (X, Y, Z), it provides detailed, repeatable measurements in a compact footprint suitable for lab environments.

For larger samples and longer test objects such as cables, the WM7300 offers an expanded scanning range of up to W420 × D297 × H200 mm. It maintains the same frequency range and measurement accuracy as the WM7400, while accommodating bigger boards and assemblies. The WM7300 also includes patent-pending features and is designed with CISPR22 compatibility in mind. Custom measurement areas can be developed to meet specific customer requirements.

Both systems operate on standard 100–240 V AC power and are engineered for consistent, high-resolution scanning performance. By enabling engineers to pinpoint noise sources before formal compliance testing, the WM7000 Series helps reduce redesign cycles and improve overall product reliability.

With the addition of the MORITA TECH WM7000 Series, Seika Machinery continues to expand its EMC solutions portfolio, giving manufacturers practical tools to diagnose and resolve EMC issues earlier in the design process.
