Pick & place equipment manufacturer Europlacer has appointed Bergen Associates as its exclusive distributor in India. Bergen Associates is part of the Bergen Group – a significant player in the Indian electronics market with 30 years of industry experience.
The new distributor in the subcontinent recently exhibited the Europlacer iineo platform at the busy Productronica India 2016 show in Bangalore, attracting a great deal of interest from both existing and potential Europlacer customers. “It was clear that these industry professionals were very pleased to see our collaboration with Bergen,” says International Sales Manager Steve Farragher, adding: “We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the Bergen team across the territory.”
Bergen Associates has a strong presence in the SMT equipment supply market, with a portfolio that includes other Tier 1 products. The Bergen Group is headed Mr Rajinder Kaura, a prominent and well-regarded individual in the Indian electronics sector.
