Europlacer, the global leader in flexible SMT assembly solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of WIN-TEK as its official distributor in Italy. This partnership enables Italian manufacturers to directly access Europlacer’s iineo range of pick-and-place machines, designed for High-Mix environments where flexibility and high component capacity are essential.
Founded in 2010 and based in Monza, just outside Milan, WIN-TEK specializes in the sale of SMT electronic assembly solutions. WIN-TEK is a distributor for several major brands, such as HANWA, the Korean manufacturer of SMT placement machines, which are well-suited for high-volume production, as well as ESE’s screen printers from Korea.
In 2024, WIN-TEK approached Europlacer, interested in marketing Europlacer’s highly flexible iineo machines in Italy—equipment they did not have in their portfolio, but which is increasingly in demand in Italy. Meanwhile, Europlacer with its office in Trieste, located on the Italian Slovenian border, for several years, managed sales and service activities of its placement and screen printing equipment in both countries. Clearly, Europlacer needed to strengthen its commercial presence in Italy, particularly in Lombardy, the heart of the Italian manufacturing industry.

We want WIN-TEK to focus on marketing the flexible iineo machine range. We do not consider HANWA machines to be in competition with ours. It’s important to note that the ATOM series machines will continue to be marketed by Europlacer Italy.”
