Joe Sklepik has been promoted to manufacturing engineering manager at Z-AXIS, Inc., a contract design and electronic manufacturing services provider near Rochester, NY. In this role he is responsible for planning and implementing manufacturing processes, developing standard and customer-specific fixtures and tooling, recommending and installing new and upgraded equipment, training users, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and managing preventative maintenance. Sklepik joined Z-AXIS in 2017 as a manufacturing engineer after six years of prior experience as mechanical engineer and product manager with CTC. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.
