The MFR-1300 Series Desoldering and Rework Systems are the next generation of standalone desoldering equipment from OK International. Some of the key features include a self-contained, powerful pump, 2-in-1 ergonomic and flexible hand piece that can be used in either a pencil or pistol style, and a collection chamber with 40 percent increased capacity over earlier systems. The new power supply features an internal pump providing 21" Hg of vacuum suction force combined with Smartheat® technology that makes through-hole desoldering easy and keeps products safe from board damage.
Also being highlighted is the MX-5000 Series Soldering and Rework System; the next generation of the trusted Metcal Soldering System. The MX-5000 boasts double the power of its predecessor, improved ergonomics to decrease operator fatigue and enhance manual dexterity, and greater process control. The MX-5000 also has a built-in power indication meter with digital display and bar graph that dynamically provides the operator with feedback on the status of the soldering operation.
