Computrol, Inc., a world-class provider of mid- to low-volume, high-mix electronic manufacturing services to OEMs, announces that it has promoted James Spencer to Engineering Manager. Prior to his promotion Spencer was a Process and Design Engineer at Computrol for seven years.
As Engineering Manager, Spencer’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the documentation and engineering functions at Computrol, interfacing with customers to resolve issues that come up prior to and during the manufacturing process, and working closely with production to improve efficiencies.
Spencer graduated from Boise State University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering. He is experienced in circuit design, PCB layout and manufacturing. Also, he has experience as a test engineer at Hewlett Packard, testing a line of the company’s multifunction copiers.
