Dec 16, 2014 The SMTA is pleased to announce its election results for the Board of Directors for the term that began at SMTA International (September 28 - October 2, 2014). Debbie Carboni, Kyzen Corporation, was elected as new VP of Expos. Richard Henrick, Sanmina Corporation, was appointed to the Planning Committee.
Those remaining on the SMTA Board of Directors include: President, Bill Barthel, Plexus Corporation; VP Communications, Michelle Ogihara, Seika Machinery, Inc.; VP Membership, Roy Starks, Libra Industries; VP Technical Programs, Raiyomand Aspandiar, Ph.D., Intel Corporation; Treasurer, Randy Schueller, Ph.D., DfR Solutions; and Secretary, Scott Nelson, Harris Corporation. Planning Committee members include: Chair, Jeff Kennedy, Celestica, Inc.; Martin Anselm, Ph.D., RIT; Matt Kelly, P.Eng, MBA, IBM Corporation; and Scott Priore, Cisco Systems, Inc.
The SMTA bids a fond farewell to departing VP of Expos, Hal Handrickson, Nordson DAGE. He is congratulated for a job well done and given thanks for the years of dedication to the SMTA.
