With its first installed base in the Silicon Valley, PI is the most groundbreaking SPI system developed to date since solder paste inspection first was introduced to the SMT industry. This next-generation SPI features ease of programming, ease of maintenance, operator friendliness and automatic threshold settings, providing solutions to improve users’ processes. Taking approximately 352 images per field of view, and due to the amazingly powerful computing system (6.4 Tflops, giving it 100X more computing power than conventional solutions), PI provides an ultra-large image in 3D true color. It offers a large PCB capability (up to 533 x 600 mms) within the industry’s smallest system footprint (only 800 mms wide), responding to the increasing constraints on floor space in modern SMT lines.
