Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, is pleased to announce that it was awarded a 2017 Global Technology Award in the category of Wave Soldering for its Powerflow s. The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 ceremony that took place during productronica in Munich, Germany.
The Powerflow s is a high throughput, full tunnel nitrogen wave soldering machine designed to handle all wave soldering requirements. Additionally, it is fully connected for Industry 4.0. Highlights include:

Because of the long preheating and separate soldering modules, the system can achieve a very high throughput. With two solder modules, users can use different alloys and wave nozzles in one machine, and run a mix production without waiting/changing times between the different PCBs or the need for a second machine.
