EasySpheres received a 2022 Mexico Technology Award in the category of Solder Spheres for its Tape-and-Reel Spheres. The award was announced during a ceremony that took place Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 during SMTA Guadalajara in Mexico.
EasySpheres taped solder spheres now allow customers to use existing pick-and-place equipment to automate the placement of its spheres for any re-balling projects. Packaged with industry standard 8mm polycarbonate tape, in compliance with the EIA-481-E standard, EasySpheres’ taped spheres will work with most pick-and-place tape feeders. The taped spheres enable customers to leverage excess placement machine capacity while gaining the benefits of accuracy and speed of existing pick-and-place platforms.
