The IMAPS Global Business Council (GBC) has announced the IMAPS 2006 Marketing Forum to be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, from 5:45 - 7:15 PM at the San Diego Convention Center. The GBC Marketing Forum is free-of-charge to all IMAPS 2006 attendees.
The Marketing Forum Program follows the lead of the IMAPS 2006 Technical Program in emphasizing technologies that are prevalent in the Southern California/South West region. The presentations will be on RF/Microwave, Biomedical, and Military/Aerospace.
Earl J. Lum has agreed to present in the area of RF/Microwaves. Mr. Lum manages EJL Wireless Research. Mr. Lum has 14 years of experience within the wireless industry. Prior to starting EJL Wireless Research, Mr. Lum was Managing Director of the Wireless Technology Equity Research sector for Montgomery & Co. During his time at Montgomery & Co., Mr. Lum pioneered and positioned Montgomery & Co. as a leader in the Mobile Game Content sector as author of The 3-D Mobile Game Market: Development, Discovery, Delivery market analysis report and has become a respected resource for the mobile game market.
A well-known expert in the field of Biomedics, David Cassak has agreed to share his knowledge in that part of the program. Mr. Cassak is a Managing Partner of Windhover Information Inc., a Norwalk, CT-based health care business information company. In 1989, Mr. Cassak, along with his partner Roger Longman, led a buyout of the publications business of The Wilkerson Group, forming Windhover Information Inc. In addition to IN VIVO, Windhover publishes START-UP and Medtech Insight. The company also offers an extensive database of health care transactions, Strategic Intelligence Systems, and a broad conference business covering both medical devices and biopharmaceuticals.
Rick Ludwig, Director, Business Strategy and Development, Unmanned Systems, Northrop Grumman Corporation Integrated Systems Western Region, San Diego, has agreed to present his expertise in the Military/Aerospace session at the 2006 Marketing Forum. Mr. Ludwig develops and initiates business development plans and strategies, which result in the achievement of Unmanned Systems (UMS) acquisitions as established in the Integrated Systems Long Range Strategic Plans and Business Plans. He develops, implements and monitors respective UMS marketing and selling, bid and proposal, and indirect plans and budgets as they relate to the overall UMS market place.
