Koh Young’s KY8030-3, solder paste inspection system.

Christopher Associates announces that Koh Young’s KY8030-3 has established its credentials as the best and most cost-effective solder paste inspection system in the North American market with several key “wins” in the past 90 days with small, mid-sized and large manufacturers in several market sectors.

Koh Young’s recent wins include a major win with one of the world’s largest automotive electronics manufacturers, the development of new software with unmatched measurement accuracy and capability for a major defense contractor, and implementation of unparalleled SPC software with a mid-sized EMS manufacturer. Additionally, yield improvement valued at more than $300,000 per year was demonstrated at a small OEM with a return on investment of less than 90 days.

Koh Young also announced several installations of the industry-leading Zenith AOI system in Asia and Europe. The Zenith system uses groundbreaking technology to offer previously unavailable inspection to IPC D-610 Standards.
