POSITION SUMMARY

The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test procedures, fixtures, test scripts, and processes. As a contract manufacturer, ACDi typically has 15-30 projects simultaneously being built across many engineering disciplines, so the successful candidate must have a very wide range of skills.  The test engineer will also perform data analysis on test related failures, including data acquisition and tracking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership and works collaboratively with customers and staff to implement, analyze, or develop the most effective test strategy.
Takes responsibility for testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project.
Provides authoritative leadership including advice and guidance to customers, staff, and co-workers on any aspect of testing, including training for testers and other developers where appropriate.
Perform a variety of test-related tasks, including:
Defining test procedures and equipment
Debugging the test setup and software
Collecting, analyzing, and compiling test data.
Recognize customer design flaws and be able to accurately provide data to the customer for improvement, including suggested solutions if possible.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for existing test processes and lead in their implementation.
Troubleshoot production failures to the component level and keep accurate documentation to feedback and improve the process.
Primary ICT test development will be on the SPEA 4060 flying probe.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

BS in electronic engineering or electronic engineering technologies
5-7 years relevant experience.
Knowledgeable in performing integration, system and regression level tests and evaluation and documentation of test results.
Excellent knowledge of Networking and/or Telecommunication systems.
Excellent working knowledge with analytical test equipment (signal generator, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscope) and automated test routines to program test equipment.
Experience with the design and test of many types of circuits including RF, digital, audio, power supply, high voltage (500 VDC), communications and various others.
Experience and/or strong familiarity with ICT and Flying Probe test strategies. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to meet goals in a fast-moving production environment.
Must be self-motivated with strong ability to multi-task, requiring minimum supervision to solve day-to-day manufacturing test related issues and provide solutions, guidance, and closure to outstanding issues with a strong sense of urgency.
Flying probe development experience is a plus.
Software application development as it pertains to test methodologies is a plus.
Excellent electronics diagnostic skills
Mechanical skills, while not required, are desired.
