bone growth stimulation system and ESD

Electronics Forum | Tue Oct 24 14:52:41 EDT 2006 | stepheniii

It must be at least a little more ESD safe than a polyester sweater. And I'm sure at least at sometime someone has worn some clothing made of plastic fibers at your place. basically find the worst thing you allow, (probably polyester sweaters) and

SMT Glue

Yes SWAG you are right, heat could be dangerous for the parts to be removed. Any way it is not so easy to remove epoxy adhesive (3609) once it is cured. By heating the adhesive (over his TG temperature)it gets softened and by using a mec

China's RoHS version (very concerned about the environment)

Electronics Forum | Wed Oct 25 15:01:10 EDT 2006 | patrickbruneel

Being cynical in a RoHS environment is dangerous; it might lead to "lead" dependency. I know it's not easy to accept the fact that the lead-free alloys and board finishes solder as well as my ceramic bathtub. By the way what do you guys distrust the

SonoFlux 9500

Electronics Forum | Wed Oct 25 11:33:44 EDT 2006 | bill

I have inherited a SonoFlux 9500 spray fluxer. It appears to have never been used and was build in 1999. It is missing the nozzle and a couple of other parts. Would it be worth it to get this thing up and running to replace a foam fluxer? Does an

Definitely better than foam!! I personally love the sonoteks. They do not really use a "nozzle" by the way. The flux is pooled on U.S. head and it atomizes it and then you have air spray to form proper spray pattern, If you are using Water soluble

AMP SMT Connector (PCI)

Electronics Forum | Thu Oct 26 14:43:09 EDT 2006 | Billabong

We are having difficulty with thermal deformation of these AMP surface mount connectors. It is a RoHS compliant part, but only rated to withstand 245c for 10-30 seconds. Even at this temperature, we are seeing PLASTIC deforming which prevents mating

Glob Top Encapsulant

The touch down sensor is probably the culprit, however make sure the head is not impacted with old solder paste and that the cylinders that flip the head are functional. I have had problems with one of the cylinders not functioning this caused the he
