Ernie Grice, Vice President Sales for Kurtz ERSA North America, presented during the event, which focused on "Building Reliability into your SMT Process." Additionally, Ersa showcased its Hotflow 3/20 reflow oven.
This year's Tech Forum focused on the reliability of electronics PCBAs. The morning session was followed by applicable machine demonstrations in the demo lab at Technica USA to demonstrate the topics presented in the morning sessions. Speakers from RBP Chemical, ASM Assembly Systems, HERAEUS and Ersa were available to discuss aspects of the SMT assembly process, as well as the materials used, which can all affect the long-term reliability of a PCB during its lifecycle.
